Sanni Kurki - Accountant
Sanni Kurki first joined Oilon through an internship related to her studies. After working for long time in retail, she wanted a change and decided to study financial administration. In spring 2024, while completing her vocational qualification in financial management, Sanni was looking for an internship – at the same time, Oilon opened a position for a trainee in the finance team. She was selected for the role, and after the internship, Sanni was offered a permanent position as an Accountant.
In her role, Sanni mainly handles tasks related to accounts payable, including invoice processing, accounting, and payments. She works closely with a teammate to share responsibilities and provide backup when needed.
“The best part of my job is the variety. I enjoy dynamic work atmosphere, and problem-solving and tasks that require logical thinking are rewarding for me. Financial administration is tightly linked to schedules and deadlines, and I like that there’s always fast-paced things to do,” Sanni says.
As an Accountant, Sanni also collaborates extensively with internal and external stakeholders.
“Cooperation across the organization works well, and the atmosphere in our team is very good. It’s easy to bring up issues, and we’re constantly looking for ways to improve processes. There are always development initiatives underway, and then it’s good to have everyone on the same page. Good team spirit and great colleagues make the days one degree better,” she says.
